Next Friday, September 21st, St. George Ontario singer Andrea Godin will be dropping by TOSRadio for a feature! To get things started, we asked her a few questions for our INsider E-View.
Q. So what have you been up to this summer?
This summer has been awesome! I didn’t really go on vacation (which would have been nice!) but I had some amazing times with all of my closest friends and met tons of new people! We went to the beach quite a bit of course, but I spent a lot of time in Toronto recording and doing shows which was a lot of fun. I feel like I got a lot accomplished this summer.
Q. You’ve released 2 singles (so far) this Year, Need a Minute and I Love Miami. Does this mean you’re gearing up for an encore to your Self-titled EP, ANDREA?
I recently finished recording a new single and I am in the process of recording other songs as well. I’ve been writing like crazy and collaborating with so many talented artists and I’m really happy with everything that we’ve been coming up with. I’m in the process of beginning my full length album right now which I’m very excited about!
You have a quite a few shows coming up in the near future, what can you share about these events?
There’s always a lot of behind the scenes work that goes into any event. I rehearse every single day to make sure I’m prepared and ready for my performances to my fullest potential. You never know who is going to be in the audience, especially at the high profile events that I often do. Not only do I do a lot of work to prepare for events & shows, but there’s also lots of hard work done by the organizers, promoters, people who work at the venue, etc. None of it could be done without them!
Q. Anything else you’d like to share?
I update all of my social media sites everyday with info, show dates, music, etc., so be sure to connect and network with me!
